Last two months have been so busy, shooting, editing, slideshows, emails. Try to get as many photos edited as possible right after the weddings. Please keep following my blog, more great wedding photos in this summer to share. I feel like this is just the beginning, August is going to be even CRAZIER. 5 weddings plus a bridal shoot in August, one of them is even on east coast - Rhode Island. I love what I am doing :)

2009-7-2 Engagement shoot with Bic & Henry in SF

Love hanging out with Bic and Henry, they are always laughing. This cute Dentist (Bic) and cool emergency room Dr (Henry) couple approached me about a year ago for their wedding Sept this yr , the ceremony and reception is going to be at one of my favorite venue , the Hakone Japanese Garden in Saratoga.

We shot this engagement portrait in two different locations, the Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco that Bic suggested and a train station that I recommended as I really really like that rusty feeling. Bic totally agreed and she wants the engagement images to be unique.

Again , couple days before the engagement portrait, I will talk to the couple regarding our wardrobe options and gave them advise. We had totally 2-3 outfit in this shoot. I won't say I am expert in choosing outfits, but I always want to make the couples look FRESH in the images, so I am really careful of what my subjects wear.

P.S : I can't stop staring Bic's 2.5 Karat engagement ring :P SO BIG !!

2009-7-3 Michelle & Collin's wedding @ Blackhawk country club Danville

This beautiful wedding of Michelle and Collin in the labor day weekend was at the Blackhawk country club in Danville. We had a whole team of great wedding vendors making this wedding the best it could be. This was my first time shooting in the Blackhawk country club, great ceremony view overlooking the golf course and lake. Love the whole PINK theme and every decor compliment each other so well.

2009-7-5 Shoot with CHUNG Digital Photography Workshop on 6/21

It was always fun to just hangout with a bunch of students who all love photography and spent a whole day sharing. The beginner to digital photography workshop on 6/21 was the 3rd small group workshop in this year, again intensive intensive and intensive.

After our complimentary breakfast and some caffeine, we spent the whole morning here learning the basic of all the photography theories and camera settings, had a buffet lunch and afternoon was all practicing practicing and practicing.

In this class, we had totally 6 students, including Carla, one of the bride I shot before. Patty , the owner of the wedding planning company ~ 8events.com, and 4 more photography enthusiastic ~ Mieko, Jack, George and Mayumi.
